Isaiah 2:4 

… they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.

 

 

 

 

Photo:  My 1984 visit to the Vietnam War Memorial, Washington D.C.  The shadows of these young men cast on the wall and the pain etched on the face of the aging veteran, have haunted me since.
